What is the difference between High Performance and Concentric butterfly valves?
High Performance butterfly valves use a double or triple eccentric, metal-seated design (2" to 24", ANSI 150#-600#) for severe chemical, petrochemical and power service. Concentric butterfly valves use a resilient, self-centering seat (2" to 72", ANSI 150#/300#, PN10/PN16) for general industrial and waterworks isolation.
Are Vimec butterfly valves fire safe?
The High Performance range is inherently fire-safe and fire-tested; consult Vimec engineering for fire-safe certification requirements on the Concentric range.
What end connections are available?
Wafer, lugged, semi-lugged and double-flanged, depending on the range and size.
